DSP Barau Describes Late Yusuf As Hardworking, Committed Journalist

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has described the late veteran journalist Kabiru Yusuf, as hardworking and committed journalist who served this country to the best of his ability.

 

Late Kabiru Yusuf, who hailed from Kano State was the Federal Capital Territory correspondent of the Triumph Newspaper and RFI Hausa until his death.

 

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Alhaji Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau said, “Kabiru Yusuf was a hardworking and committed journalist”.

 

He also acknowledged the remarkable contributions of the veteran journalist to the realm of journalism and education.

 

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Kabiru Yusuf during this difficult time. May Allah SWT grant him Jannatul Firdausi,” he said.

 

Late Kabiru Yusuf was a reporter with Radio France Internationale (RFI Hausa), until his death and has covered the State House for over 20 years. He died on Tuesday.
