The Chairman, Federal Character Commission (FCC) Mrs. Muibat Farida Dankaka, has sworn with Holy Qur’an before the House of Representatives committee Ad-hoc investigating mismanagement of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) and job racketeering by Ministries Departments and Agencies of government that she was not party to the allegation.
The Former Human Resource Manager of Federal Character Commission FCC Mr. Haruna Kolo has confirmed to the Committee that he has no evidence against the chairman, FCC Mrs Muibat Farida Dankaka, over the allegations of illegal recruitment by collecting monies from unsuspecting Nigerians and gross misconduct except verbal discussion.
Mr Kolo stated this while he was answering questions from lawmakers after the committee discovered a total sum of 75 million Naira lodge in 3 separate accounts belonging to him.
Mr. Kolo confessed to the committee that he had been collecting monies from Nigerians seeking for employment. When some members of the committee Hon Ahmed Babawo Jaha and Hon. Hussein Jalo among others further asked him to provide video evidence or Bank transaction receipt, he replied saying he had no such evidence.
Responding to the allegations, the Executive Chairman Hajiya Dankaka took the Holy Quran and swore that she knew nothing about the allegations leveled against her by Mr. Haruna Kolo.
The chairman of the committee Hon Yusuf Gagdi promised to leave no stone unturned until the committee unravels the mystery and circumstances surrounding the allegations, adding that everyone would be treated fairly.
He instructed the Clerk of the Committee to invite the remaining suspects to appear before the committee unfailingly on Tuesday 8 August 2023.
