Law maker Re-affirmed Commitment to Support Education, Youth Development, Empowerment

The member representing Zaria City Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila, has again sponsored three hundred students to continue their Post Basic Education (JSS 1 and 2, at BATC Zaria City Centre.

Speaking shortly after the second Launch of the programme under ” Safe the Children Initiative, the lawmaker said the beneficiaries were carefully selected from the six wards of his constituency with many of them being orphans.

Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila known as “Bola Ige” contended that under the initiative the students received school uniforms, bags, math sets and other materials to assist them in their studies.

For the hitch free implementation of the programme, the representative pointed out that they have made arrangements with the school to continue providing the necessary materials and resources to ensure success.

The law maker re-affirmed commitment and support to education, the state and the people of Zaria City, as well as youths development and empowerment.

He also expressed gratitude to the organisation and Reach Out to School Children for honouring the invitation and for supporting the students with five hundred exercise books.

He then expressed appreciation and thanks to governor Uba Sani for his invaliable support to education.

The deputy chief whip of the Kaduna State house of assembly however disclosed that under the initiative in 2024 under the same initiative he supported fifty primary school students with school bags, books and other educational materials.
