The Acting Managing Director of Kano Line and Chairman of the Committee on the Revival of the Company, Alh Sa’idu Abdullahi Shu’aibu today led other members of the Committee on a visit to the Kano branch of the Bank of Industry situated at Farm Center, Kano.
Alh Sa’idu Abdullahi said the visit was aimed at exploring all possible avenues through which Kano Line would benefit from the services of the Bank for the overall development of the Transportation sector in Kano State.
The Acting Managing Director pointed out that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has a passion for the revival of the transport company, hence the need for the Committee to work assiduously with relevant government agencies for the realization of the objective.
Alh Sa’idu Abdullahi Shu’aibu said the Committee is poised to make Kano Line as a means of creating more employment opportunities for youths and the vast majority of the unemployed populace.
In his response, the Kano branch Manager of the Bank of Industry, Aminu Yunusa Yusuf briefed the Committee members on ways and strategies that Kano Line can key in and benefit from the loans facility to revive the premier transport company.
He thanked the Acting Managing Director and other members of the Committee for the visit and assured them that the bank is ready to work with Kano Line for mutual benefit.
