The Kano Line Revival Committee has solicited the support and Cooperation of Kano State Command of Security and Civil Defence Corps in maintaining security at its Terminus across the state.
The Acting Managing Director of Kano Line and Chairman of the Revival Committee, Alh Sa’idu Abdullahi Shu’aibu made the request when members of the Committee visited the Commandant in his office.
Alhaji Sa’idu Abdullahi pointed that as motor parks comprised people of different characters there is need to beef up Security at Kano Line offices situated at strategic exit points in Kano Metropolis.
The Acting Managing Director explained that it was part of the mandate of the Revival Committee to look into ways of establishing new Terminus as spelt out by Kano State Governor, Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf.
In his response, Kano State Commandant of NSCDC, Alhaji Shafi’u Abdulmumin assured the Committee of the Command’s support at all times to enable it achieve its objectives.
The Commandant urged the Committee to give specific areas at which the NSCDC official could key in for the safety of their staff and vehicles according to a statement Signed by Abubakar Ibrahim Sharada Public Relations Officer Kano Line.
