The Women Initiative For Family Economy “WIFE” has called for continued investment in women, women’s access to capital, skills, markets, education, technology, and opportunities for economic independence.
The president for Women In Wife Hajiya A’isha Abdulkadir Ya’u who is the convener of the programme made the appeal during an interfaith prayer session organized for peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria and for president Bola Ahmad Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election
A’isha stressed the need for all well meaning Nigerians to pray at this time for our leaders especially president Bola Ahnad Tinubu , vice president Kashim Shettima by asking Almighty Allah to grant them the wisdom, courage, good health, and spirit of justice as they lead the country in the next dispensation
She also said it is important to commit such prayers for the federal executive councils, national assemblies, state and local
government leaders, judiciary, civil servants and all entrusted with public responsibility in Nigeria
A’isha further believes that such prayer goes to our armed forces, police and other security agencies for divine protection and victory in the fight against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, violence,
crime and every threat to our national peace.
The convener said nation building is a continuous process, thereby recognizing the efforts of President Bola Ahmet Tinubu’s Renewed Hope
Agenda in areas of infrastructure, economic reform, transportation, housing, agriculture, education, health care, energy and investment on major Roads and rail projects including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund for students for their educational support
” women are not spectators
in nation building, they are mothers, entrepreneurs, farmers, professional educators, community builders, political participants, and peaceful builders, therefore must remain central to national development.”
She however appreciates and commends the efforts of our mother, the first lady Oluremi Tinubu for
her remarkable commitment to the empowerment of welfare advancement of Nigerian women through the Renewed Hope Initiative,

Hajiya A’isha has demonstrated
that women remain central to the development and prosperity of Nigeria, saying her intervention has supported women economically, socially and promoted entrepreneurship and skill development, created opportunities for women to become self-reliant
and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
The convener also send her heartfelt appreciation to Hajiya Asama’u Abdul Aziz Yari the National Patron of Women in Wife for her support
guidance, encouragement
and commitment to the growth of
women in Nigeria
Earlier in his opening remarks the National chairman of the ruling party APC represented by the National financial secretary Dr Haruna Ginsau said to pray for peace, progress, and national unity, APC, remains firmly committed to policies that empower families, strengthen local economies, and expand opportunities for women in governance and enterprise.
He said the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, places women and family welfare at the center of national development,
“as we look toward the future for the continued progress of our nation
and the success of our leadership heading into 2027, let us remember that prayers must be marched with unity, peace, and steadfast support for the reforms and positions in Nigeria
for long-term prosperity. ”
The National Chairman of APC commended Ambassador Aisha Abdul-kadir Yau and the entire leadership of WIFE
for organizing this special city gathering. May Almighty Allah hear our collective prayers,
bless our families, grant wisdom to our leaders, and preserve the peace and unity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, contributing the representative of the speaker of the.house of representative Hin Alasan Ado Doguwa assured that the National Assembly’s doors are wide open to amend the existing laws for the benefit of women in Nigeria
He reiterated commitment of the National Assembly to continue to help women attain positions required by law for their socio economic development.
Two clergy men from both religious believes that us Islam and Christianity have prayed for Allah’s guidance and blessings to our leaders
Sheikh Tajuddeen Iman who represented tha national chairman of JIBWIS stressed the need to pray for our leaders to be able to do justice for the interest of all Nigerians
He.prayed fur Allah’s guidance fir our political leaders to make the 2027 general election a peaceful and harmonious one devoid of any violence and accept the out come with fear of Allah for the interest if National peace and unity
Also Reverend John Joseph Hayap of the Christian Association of Nigeria supported this by saying Christians pray not for politics rather follow the commencement of the bible
He pray God Almighty to guide president Tinibu to administer the country in peace love and unity may God surrounded him with good advisers that will help him deliberate n the right direction fir the development of all Nigerians.
